Customer Services Representative

This role is about delivering exceptional customer services to our incredible customers who serve their community by making great stuff happen in local affordable spaces.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help an ‘up and coming’ company that is successfully bringing new solutions to exhaustively tired processes in their target industry.

What you need for this role

  • You LOVE helping people. This is an absolute!
  • You are able to assist people through stepped complicated processes
  • You see yourself as a bit of a teacher-type person
  • Your written and oral communication skills are elite
  • You can keep your finger on a number of things at the same time, effectively multitasking to get results
  • You are pretty comfortable with technology as our systems are all online
  • You can handle conflict by patiently listening carefully to others and determining the best way to resolve a problem
  • You are able to take a project with a clear outcome and ‘get it done’ the right way
  • You are able to support Australian/NZ daytime working hours

As with any business, customer service has to primarily deal with customers who are confused, angry, scared or a little frustrated. While our software is daily intuitive and beautiful, sometimes there are customers who need help. They can be stressed, and you need to be able to talk them off of the ledge and make them feel comfortable again. That’s tricky work! 

The good news is that most of our partner customers are really excited about using our product, so a lot of them will be excited, if not a little nervous, too. 

You will be on the phone, answering most questions online and doing some product training for the majority of your role, while we will challenge you with projects that help to improve the performance of the business and that of your other teammates. Project work will be varied in areas of BD, CS and even Quality Assurance, and no single month will be the same.
