Cityside Event Space, Grafton

Up to 100 people, from $55 per hour

Inviting, artistic and comfortable, the Cityside Event Space is a unique and welcoming venue to say 'I do'. Its central location isn't the only thing that's handy - Cityside also has seating, air conditioning, wheelchair access and kitchenette! 

New York Style Loft, Symonds St

Up to 60 people, $100 per hour

Incredible space for a special celebration. Brick walls, wooden floors and the MOTHER of all stained glass ceiling features, this space can be your dream celebration space. Lots of options to configure the space how you need it, and the photos are going to be great with all that light and colour. 

Oakroom, Victoria Park

One of Auckland’s most historic and treasured landmarks, formerly a stable in the 1800’s, it has been carefully crafted in order to maintain a contemporary feel and enhance its historic features. Also comes with a sunny deck. 

Somervell Presbyterian Church, Remuera

Somervell Presbyterian Church is a welcoming church that is the perfect location to host your wedding. The church is a modern building with large windows and beautiful acoustics. The space is large and airy with a piano, electric organ, professional sound desk and projectors available. It is also situated minutes from Remuera and with easy access from the motorway with free parking.

Somervell can video event, provide live-streaming as well and have a kitchen available for self or external catering.

The church seats about 250 people with an extra 15 upstairs on the balcony.

St Luke's Church, Remuera

Up to 300 people, from $1100 inc. Church & Ceremony

Saint Luke’s Church is a beautiful stone gothic building. Stunning stained glass windows surround the space, filling it with a glorious light and ambience - making it the perfect location for your wedding. If you’re looking for the ideal space to create your dream wedding without breaking the bank, look no further. Anyone can be married in St Luke's. You don’t have to be a member of St Luke's, or be a Presbyterian, or be baptised. It does not matter if one or both of you are from another or no church background. Gay and lesbian couples are also welcome. You can also book spaces in the adjoining community lounge and courtyard for drinks and celebrations afterwards.

The church seats about 250 people on pews, and an extra 50 seats can be added if needed. The wedding package is a fixed price of $1,100 inc GST that includes:

• Use of the Church for 3 hours for your wedding ceremony
• Minister Glynn Cardy to conduct the ceremony
• Organist

• A 1 hour rehearsal, which includes time to set up any decorations

St Helier's Centre, Saint Heliers

Up to 180 people, $600 inc GST for Wedding Package

The St Heliers Church Sanctuary  is an aesthetically appealing, light filled space, with excellent acoustics, and seating for up to 180 people. A beautiful mix of modern and traditional, the space is large and open, with windows on either side and a stunning stained glass window to let plenty of natural light in. If you’re looking for the ideal space to create your dream wedding without breaking the bank, look no further!

St Helier's offers a wedding package with a fixed price of $600 inc GST that includes:

• Use of the church for 3 hours for the ceremony (including set up/decorating and pack down).
• 1 hour rehearsal
• Audio-visual technician for wedding and rehearsal

You can also opt for these extras:

• Use of grand piano and/or pipe organ for an extra $100 (BYO musician)
• A minister or celebrant for an extra $500
• Additional hours above the 3 hour minimum at $120 p/h

St John the Baptist, Northcote Point

Up to 100 people, from $103 per hour

With spacious grounds and old oak trees, St John the Baptist is a historic Selwyn church that has everything you need for your big day! The venue is split up into 3 different spaces; the church which can seat up to 100 people and has AV equipment for use, the main hall which can also accommodate up to 100 people and has beautiful wooden floors, kitchen facilities and trestle tables and chairs if needed, as well as the smaller St Jude's Room for extra space like a dressing room or a quieter room for kids or those with sensory difficulties. Speaking of accessibility, the venue also has disability access and plenty of parking.

St John the Baptist is flexible for your needs. You can book each space individually or the whole venue, depending if you need a ceremony or reception space, or both! 

St Luke's Church, Mt Albert

Up to 50 people, from $68.50 per hour

If you're after a more intimate church setting, St Luke's Church in Mt Albert is the place for you! St Luke's is a historic church with beautiful interiors, a high wooden ceiling, stained glass windows and a working pipe organ. Its wedding spaces include the church and main hall which can be booked individually or as a combo.

The main hall includes kitchen facilities, folding tables and chairs and a small lounge area with sofas and a coffee table.

Remuera Baptist Church

Up to 200 people, From $1200 inc. Church & Ceremony

The auditorium is a large and open 13.2m x 12.1m space which contains seating for 180 people and 200 if the sliding doors separating the lounge and auditorium are opened (on request), which is great for larger seminars or workshops. The pews are set out facing the front, however, these can be moved to cater for other activities such as young children's movement groups. Please note that no alcohol can be consumed on the premises.

• Seating for up to 200 which is moveable
• Piano, Keyboard, and drum kit upon request
• A sound system with several handheld microphones and an AUX cord

• Two mouned projectors (facing forward and back) 

Old St Michael's Church, Henderson

Up to 80 people, From $80 an hour

While it's no longer a consecrated and used church, Old St Michael's is still a beautiful place to have a church wedding. It boasts some stunning architecture from its history, including a paved entranceway, polished floor boards, tongue and groove wall panels and leadlight windows. Located on the main lawn of Corban Estate, the Church's surrounds offer the opportunity to throw out a picnic blanket in the sunshine or seek shelter under the plentiful tree canopy.

Hall hire includes:

• 8 trestle tables and 50 black vinyl seminar chairs
• Lighting and heating
• A small attached kitchen with a microwave, fridge, zip and dishwasher

You have the option of hiring a TV and security if your wedding happens past 8pm.

Garnet Station, Westmere

Up to 120 people, from $100 per hour + minimum spend on food

This gorgeous wedding venue has a tiny theatre for your ceremony, lush gardens for your wedding reception  and fun lounge and bar spaces and a fairy lit laneway for wining and dining. Your guests can feast on a bespoke menu or keep it simple with their signature wood fired pizzas. As an added bonus, owner Verity is a celebrant - this venue really has it all. 

Becroft Gallery at Lake House Arts, Takapuna

Up to 60 people, from $99.95 per hour

A gallery in a heritage arts complex set in beautiful parkland. With an exhibition always on, your wedding guests will have a lovely setting with lots of conversation starters right there in the room. 

Kowhai Room, Henderson

Up to 350 people, from $90 per hour

The Kowhai room is a large and flexible space with views out over our indoor arena. It's a blank space that works for everything from a simple presentation to a wedding. You can really make it your own. The room has its own bar and a serving area for catering. 

Encounter's Cafe Space, Avondale

Up to 100 people, from $40 per hour

Encounter is a vibrant family-focused Christian Centre overlooking the Waitematā harbour. Their spacious, modern and light filled cafe space is perfect for your big day, with its large foyer strung with festoon lighting, comfy cafe style seating, an outside area with picnic tables and a small private space for families and breastfeeding.

Gilli, Newmarket

Stunning, open and large industrial chic cafe space that's perfect for a big private dinner and wedding celebration. Renowned locally for it's delicious food and friendly hospitality, this is a  great central option.
