One of Auckland’s most historic and treasured landmarks, formerly a stable in the 1800’s, it has been carefully crafted in order to maintain a contemporary feel and enhance its historic features. Also comes with a sunny deck.

The Bluestone Room, Queen St

The Bluestone Room Wedding Venue is nestled within the superbly restored heritage building in Auckland’s Durham Lane. It possesses its very own magical atmosphere, basking in old-world charm and the most amazing history. You can really go to town on making this space unique for your wedding reception.

St Aidan's, Remuera

St Aidan's Church Remuera provides the most beautiful setting for your big day. When you walk down the aisle, you will feel a sense of peace and serenity under our arched wooden beams and colourful stained glass.  It is a truly special space that will make your wedding ceremony memorable and picture-perfect.

The church seats about 250-300 people depending on how intimate you are happy for your guests to be. The wedding package is a fixed price of $1,250 inc GST that includes:

•  A 1.5-hour rehearsal in the church, to be scheduled separately
• Administrator’s time spent with you in planning your service
• Use of the church for 4.5 hours on the day of your wedding, with the option to pay for extra time @ $200 per hour
• Use of our Gathering Area (foyer) for your guests before and after the ceremony
• Use of audio-visual equipment
  A duty “Front of House Manager” (Verger) to operate this equipment

St Luke's, Remuera

Saint Luke’s Church is a beautiful stone gothic building. Stunning stained glass windows surround the space, filling it with a glorious light and ambience - making it the perfect location for your wedding. If you’re looking for the ideal space to create your dream wedding without breaking the bank, look no further. Anyone can be married in St Luke's. You don’t have to be a member of St Luke's, or be a Presbyterian, or be baptised. It does not matter if one or both of you are from another or no church background. Gay and lesbian couples are also welcome. You can also book spaces in the adjoining community lounge and courtyard for drinks and celebrations afterwards.

The church seats about 250 people on pews, and an extra 50 seats can be added if needed. The wedding package is a fixed price of $1,100 inc GST that includes:

• Use of the Church for 3 hours for your wedding ceremony
• Minister Glynn Cardy to conduct the ceremony
• Organist

• A 1 hour rehearsal, which includes time to set up any decorations

 Remuera Baptist Church

Up to 200 people, From $1200 inc. Church & Ceremony

The auditorium is a large and open 13.2m x 12.1m space which contains seating for 180 people and 200 if the sliding doors separating the lounge and auditorium are opened (on request), which is great for larger seminars or workshops. The pews are set out facing the front, however, these can be moved to cater for other activities such as young children's movement groups. Please note that no alcohol can be consumed on the premises.

Garnet Station, Westmere

This gorgeous wedding venue has a tiny theatre for your ceremony, lush gardens for your wedding reception  and fun lounge and bar spaces and a fairy lit laneway for wining and dining. Your guests can feast on a bespoke menu or keep it simple with their signature wood fired pizzas. As an added bonus, owner Verity is a celebrant - this venue really has it all. 

Uxbridge, Howick

Lake House Arts, Takapuna

A heritage arts complex set in beautiful parkland. Use the space for a garden wedding ceremony or book the gallery for drinks and nibbles. This wedding venue has many options to create a unique celebration - with plenty of options for great wedding photos. Onsite catering available in their lovely cafe. 

Whare Toi, Devonport

Up to 60 people, $30 an hour

Nestled in the side of Mount Vic, this heritage hall space is a blank canvas for your wedding celebration. This is perfect for those wanting to keep it simple and affordable, with a small kitchenette for self catering. 

Marist Rugby Club, Mt Albert

Up to 200 people, $250 fixed price

Sunny function space with great self catering facilities including BBQ. Good set up for DJ and plenty of space for celebrating and dancing. Also overlooks their famous rugby pitch - breeding ground of champions!

The Vic, Devonport

$120 per hour, 60 people

For something a little different, how about a heritage cinema venue for your wedding reception? This art deco gem has an intimate cinema space with private bar, and space to spill out on to the street. Delicious in house catering available - including locally famous hand-made on site gelato. 

The Esplanade, Devonport

Up to 55 people, $75 per hour

The Ballroom at the esplanade is an elegant wedding reception space featuring vintage chandeliers, an open fireplace and large arched windows looking over to the beach and wharf. This is a space with character with original Edwardian features, beautiful polished floors, high ceilings and natural light. Guests also have access to relax in the Art Deco styled bar. Lots of options for in house catering and drinks. 

MoveSpace, Eden Terrace

Up to 45 people, $30 per hour

Intimate, creative and homely, this space is perfect for those wanting to have a small celebration in an event space that exudes love laughter and community. Lots of comfy flexible seating, easy to move around from ceremony to food and then on to a party. If you want something a little different but with a big heart, you've found your venue. 

Kowhai Room, Henderson

Up to 350 people, $100 per hour

The Kowhai room is a large and flexible space with views out over our indoor arena. It's a blank space that works for everything from a simple presentation to a wedding. You can really make it your own. The room has its own bar and a serving area for catering. 

Balcony Room, Grey Lynn

Up to 20 people, $33 per hour

The modern Balcony Room is located upstairs at Grey Lynn Community Centre. It's a large, multi-purpose space that benefits from a private balcony overlooking Richmond Road. There is crockery for up to 20 people that can be used as part of your booking. Also has an option for a projector & screen.

Encounter, Avondale

Encounter is a vibrant family-focused Christian Centre that welcomes our community to share our wonderful facilities overlooking the Waitematā harbour in the heart of Rosebank Road. They have many venues which are great for weddings. The Large Auditorium can sit up to 400 people.

New York Style Loft, Symonds St

Up to 60 people, $100 per hour

Incredible space for a special celebration. Brick walls, wooden floors and the MOTHER of all stained glass ceiling features, this space can be your dream celebration space. Lots of options to configure the space how you need it, and the photos are going to be great with all that light and colour. 

Corp Studio, K' Road

Up to 65 people, $100 per hour

Big windows, wooden floors and lots of light, this is a blank studio space that you can really make your own for a small wedding reception or gathering to celebrate your special day. Bring in your own caterers, hire some fun furniture and create an unforgettable day. 

Thievery, Karangahape Road

Because who doesn't want a stuffed zebra leaping out at their guests at their wedding reception? A big stunning space that can be transformed to be whatever you want it to be for your big day.
